Visit Academic Advising to meet with an Advisor and plan your course schedule

Now that you have completed your placement testing requirements, you can head to the Academic Advising Center, which is staffed by Peer and Faculty Advisors, and operates as a walk-in, no appointment necessary, center. They can help you with the following:

  • Explaining Placement Test Results and Developmental Placement
  • Teaching students how to read and understand their degree requirements
  • Guiding students in choosing classes that will meet the academic requirements of his/her degree
  • Teaching the student how to read the college catalog
  • Accessing Web Advisor through Portal
  • Providing information about academic deadlines
  • Explaining College Policies and Procedures
  • Offering referrals to campus resources
